Men being men, they congregate around food and talk sports, cars, and technology. At Vanier Community Church we like that stuff too, but we also like to connect on a deeper level of fellowship, so one Saturday a month we have breakfast with our buddies at Louis Steakhouse on Cyrville Road. There we enjoy great food and generally have a speaker to share the Word or their testimony of how God came to be in their lives. (Please Note: There are no Men's Breakfasts in July & August) You are also welcome to plug in to our Men's Bible Study Tuesday Nights from 7-8pm in the VCC Lounge at 155 Carillon St. If you are interested in joining us for, or would like more information about, either of these men's ministries, email email@example.com
The Blender is where we dig a little deeper and interact, finding out about what it means to follow Christ. At VCC we are equipping His Kids to be powerful disciples. Their faith and openness is incredible, and we value them as the future of our church. Our dedicated and trained team of children's ministry leaders work diligently to create a safe, welcoming, dynamic environment for children to grow and be encouraged in their walk with God. We team up with parents and the Holy Spirit to be attentive to who each child is, what captures their attention, and help them grow according to his or her giftings and needs. We firmly believe that each and every child is competent and has something to offer the world. We do our best to activate and foster their potential through our actions, positive guidance, love and opportunities to explore, ask, create, share, and learn. Nursery (ages 0-3) On Sundays, we have a secure, staffed nursery to take care of your children aged 0-3. Our Nursery Supervisor plans short activities, crafts, and story times. On Thursdays, the Nursery is self-serve where nursing moms or family members can bring their infants and children under age 3. The nursery overlooks the main sanctuary and an audio feed of the service is available. Preschool (ages 4-5) Downstairs we have a Preschool Program for 4-5 year olds. This is such a beautiful ...
The Witness is the youth group here at Bikers Church. Geared for grades 7-12, we help youth to engage in a journey with God while making new relationships with others. So, if you want to be encouraged, empowered and challenged, join us every Thursday night at 7pm. There we will embark on a tough and exciting journey of figuring out who God is, what purpose He has for our lives, and how we can be world-changers for Jesus. You, too, can be a witness. (Here’s what scripture says about it: http://www.openbible.info/topics/being_a_witness) What we’re up to right now: From September 25 to December 4th, 2014 we will be running a Youth Alpha program. It will be a great way for the youth in our church and community to come together regularly to eat, talk, and ask questions about the things that are important to them. There will be a youth retreat midway through the course from Friday November 7 to Saturday November 8.
